So what is Not Another HSM?

Not Another High School Musical is a concept that will be familiar to most if not all students of Royal Holloway! Many of us will have grown up watching films like High School Musical, Mean Girls and Clueless. All members of the university are bound to enjoy the musical for its comic elements, a lot of the time making fun of the original films for their silly concepts, such as minimal makeovers to make the girl beautiful and a girl having to make only small changes to their appearance to be accepted as a male.

Not only this but the music we have incorporated will appeal to all audiences that may watch the show. High School Musical songs will appeal to those of all ages, whether they are younger children who still enjoy the films of older teenagers who like to reminisce about their younger years. Then on the other hand the older section of the audience will be able to enjoys songs from the more controversial musical Avenue Q and the rockier music from Rock Of Ages.
