MTS are delighted to announce that, following the huge success of last year's productions of Into The Woods and Rent, the Autumn Term Main Show 2016 will be Bring It On! From the creator of In The Heights and Hamilton, Lin Manuel-Miranda, the show ran on Broadway for a year and is based on the 2000 film of the same name. Featuring songs such as "What I Was Born To Do", "It's All Happening" and "Enjoy The Trip", Bring It On guarantees to once again bring a touch of MTS sparkle to the SU stage in November 2016.
Following an impressive MTS debut as Mimi in our award-winning production of RENT last March, we are delighted to welcome Lucy Carruthers for her first directorial outing here at Royal Holloway. Speaking of her new role, Lucy commented, "I can't contain my excitement, and I cannot wait to get started with my amazing team!". Returning for his fourth main show as Musical Director for MTS will be Max Harris, fresh from a summer working with Youth Music Theatre UK as an MD and vocal coach. Dana Hudson will fulfil the role of choreographer following her production team debut for RENT back in March. Other production team members will include Emma Nylund as Assistant Director and Publicity Officer, Rebecca Hitchcox as Stage Manager, Anna-Maria Triea as Deputy Stage Manager, Elinor Boult as Producer and Hanae Atkins as Costume Designer.
Auditions for Bring It On will take place in the second week back after summer - keep your eyes peeled for further audition info and we cannot wait to see you there!
