Surely it can't be time for Christmas Concert yet... can it?!

Hi everyone! We can't quite believe it either, but Christmas Concert is just around the corner, and this year it's going to be bigger and better than ever! I'm talking a live band, presents, tinsel, a Christmas tree, what more could you possibly want?!
This year, we're adopting a slightly different format whereby we'll be mixing Christmas songs from musicals with Christmas pop songs to create a truly fantastic extravaganza! The committee are currently voting for which songs are to be performed so we're not quite ready to release the song list yet, but I for one am certainly hoping for some Wham, Mariah Carey and Wizzard amongst many others!
The concert will follow the format of 10 songs per act (so 20 songs in total), and each act will have 6 songs, 2 solos and 2 carols in it. Solo song auditions will take place on 17th November, and as long as your song is relevant to Christmas you can audition it! We also welcome auditions (with whatever Christmas song you like) from duos, trios, quartets and quintets, so if you're the next budding Little Mix or Destiny's Child, we want to see you!
This year, we are also opening up to our members the opportunity to select the carols that will be performed at the concert - the top four will make the cut! Click here to make your selection!
Lastly, we need directors and choreographers! I'm hoping to get a team of these together in order to ensure the event is as great as possible, so if you're interested in directing or choreographing numbers for this wonderful show, email a short application to mts@su.rhul.ac.uk ASAP!
