Informal Concert 2017

Informal Concert is just around the corner!

Informal Concert is a fabulous way to get as many people up on the stage singing or dancing as possible - not only is it a fantastic opportunity to trial out Summer Cab solo auditions, it's totally unauditioned so anyone and everyone can get up on the stage and perform! Duets/trios/quartets welcome as well.

The date for your diaries is Wednesday 22nd March at 7.30pm in Wettons Annexe A, a nice, informal, relaxed venue where we can all meet up, catch up on the past term and enjoy some fantastic performance from as many of our talented members as possible. If you would like to sing a number/perform a dance (which we strongly encourage you do) - please email mts@su.rhul.ac.uk with a PDF of your sheet music attached if applicable, stating the song you would like to sing - a backing track is fine as well, just put the link in the email so we can have time to master it to give it a better sound quality. If you want piano accompaniment but don't currently have it, fear not, because we have pretty much every musical score in the world so we should be able to find it for you. And remember - it is totally INFORMAL! No pressure at all, such a room full of welcoming people, so this really is a brilliant opportunity. ANY song from ANY musical - the no-can-do list doesn't apply to Informal Concert, so you can literally sing/dance to anything you like. Run-throughs with the pianist will take place from 6pm-7.15pm on the day of the concert.
