*IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT CASTING AND AUDITIONS*

LOVE ISLAND THE MUSICAL will be reopening their auditions TOMORROW on Sunday 14th January from 12pm until 2pm. We are looking to fill some lead and supporting roles.

*ANYONE THAT HAS NOT BEEN CAST IN AN MTS MAIN TERM OR VARIATIONS SHOW, OR THAT HAS NOT HAD AN *AUDITIONED* SOLO FULL SONG IN AN MTS EVENT BEFORE, MAY AUDITION, provided that they have not been cast in another show on campus this term. This is a move away from the previous constraint which stated that only first year students could audition. If you are, however, a first year none of the above applies - you can audition regardless. We would encourage performers that were unsuccessful in their auditions this term for other shows to audition if they meet the criteria*

Update: If you have previously MD’d, Directed or Choreographed an MTS main term or variations show, you are unfortunately not permitted to audition.

Auditions will take place in the Munro Fox Lecture Theatre from 12pm until 2pm. Those wishing to audition will need to arrive at 12, and will be asked to come with a 1-2 minute extract from a song to sing individually to the production team.

Following this, we will have a half hour group dance session in which our choreographer will teach you a short section of dance from the show. Finally, we will be holding an acting workshop in which you will perform excerpts from our script, both individually and with each other.

We are hoping to post our cast list in the hours following these additional auditions. We would like to thank those who were recalled on Friday for their patience whilst this process continues.
